Chris Kelly is a dedicated strength and running coach with a passion for helping his clients build their bodies and minds for a long life of activity. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from UC Davis in 2020, where he developed the analytical mindset and problem-solving skills that now inform his practical approach to fitness programming.
As an NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer, Chris specializes in working with middle-aged to retired adults who are looking to reduce joint pain and develop sustainable fitness practices. He believes that when you balance discipline with enjoying the process, your fitness journey is better set up for success. This philosophy is built on a foundation of good communication, mutual respect for each other's time, and putting in the work with consistent effort.
Chris's coaching style is characterized by dedication and positivity. His training programs integrate strength, mobility, running, and lifestyle factors including sleep and nutrition to create comprehensive wellness solutions for his clients. He values respect, humor, and effort above all else, believing that it's easier to stay consistent when you're having fun doing it. Chris expects his clients to do their best, nothing more and nothing less.
Outside of coaching, Chris enjoys staying active himself and practices what he preaches by maintaining his own balanced approach to fitness and health. His commitment to challenging morning workouts and consistency sets the tone for his clients.
